With SO much interest in my old-fashioned, no pectin added, gourmet preserves, we’ve started ‘putting-up’ jars in limited quantities to sell on a first-come first-served basis.
~ Using Santa Rosa plums from my friend Vern’s tree, spent an afternoon cooking ‘Ruby Goodness’ plum jam with wildflower honey and a hint of nutmeg. Even after waiting a month for the jam’s flavors to meld, the nutmeg is very subtle…not quite discernible, but still lends a fullness to the flavor.
